The reddish brown fabrics were yarn dyed prior to handloom weaving by artisans in Nepal, whereas the off-white fabrics were undyed and machine woven. Fastening is a slit at the left side with 3 coconut buttons and an adjustable fabric string hemmed into the waist. The decorative tapes between fabric sections have been crochetted with handspun himalayan nettle. The fabric for the patch pocket on the right side is handwoven using handspun himalayan nettle. This skirt has a cotton lining attached inside to prevent transparency.
