These finely hand woven flannels (wash cloths) are made from the finest hand processed zaguri silk yarn. They are ideal for those with delicate skin, including new born babies.
The double-layerd fabric is stitched together by a decorative linen crochet border. They have a corner loop so they can be hung to dry or when not in use.
The fabric has a stiff feel initially, due to the natural gum being left on the silk fibre to ease weaving. A wash in warm water will remove this gum, leaving a softer feel.
