This Japanese solar calendar is made by KOU KOBAYASHI, Japanese artist in Japan. Each page of the month has an individual wood block print made by Kou herself. An explanation of each the artworks can be found in Japanese on the back of each page. Each calendar comes with a message allowing you to write your own message and gift to someone.

This is a calendar that goes beyond a calendar. Maybe it's a small art book, or a book that touches your heart. It's also a diary where you can look back on your daily footsteps, and every time you look at it, you think of your loved ones. It may be a loving gift sent from you to someone else, or from someone to you. Each woodblock print was created from the daily memories that I wanted to share and love with everyone. On the back of each month's calendar, I wrote about the inspiration I received from the paintings. The many resonances created through this calendar I am looking forward to it with great gratitude.
