Our new Fundoshi are gender-free underwear, tailored from a breathable fabric that is handwoven from a blended Hemp Organic Cotton yarn (30%, 70%).  The twill weave adds a touch of elegance to the fabric, ensuring both comfort and style.

Available in four natural dyed colours, each created from weaving different coloured warp and weft yarns. The fabrics are yarn dyed prior to twill weaving. 
 
Indigo Navy - Indigo extract and Myrobalan.
Lime Green - Pomegranate peel with different mordants for warp and weft.
Yellow Beige - Pomegranate and Madder.
Pinkish Brown - Madder and Accacia.

This Ecchu Fundoshi (越中褌) have been a traditional Japanese form of underwear for centuries. Of the many types of Fundoshi, Ecchu is a length of cloth with a strip of material at the waist to form a fastening. The strings are tied around the waist with the cloth at the small of the back, the cloth is then pulled between the legs and through the belt, letting the remainder hang as an apron.
