Also known as spools or bobbins, our hand turned wooden reels hark back to a time before plastic. Unlike modern disposable reels, these can be used time and time again.
Our wooden reels have been hand crafted from a beautiful dark Nepalese hardwood called 'Saz', a large sub-tropical Himalayan tree found up to altitudes of 1200m.
Available in two sizes, the largest measures 45mm in height and 29mm for the smallest. Both reels have 7mm holes so they can be used with most modern sewing machines.
Due to the raw material's texture and the handmade nature of these tools, some variation in tone and texture may occour.
